Spięcie Kontrolowane × Star Gress Training Center

Seven editions behind us – see you again in September!

Końskie. Star Gress Training Center. Seven editions. Dozens of participants. Thousands of ideas. One shared energy.

This year’s workshop series, Spięcie Kontrolowane, has come to an end – intense, hands-on, and focused on what truly matters in visual design today. We’re already getting ready for the next edition in September, but for now – here’s a look at what we explored together.

Composition. Color. Harmony. Reading space with intention.

Together with a group of designers, we worked on how to read space consciously – and how to communicate it clearly, visually and emotionally.

We focused on:

  • various types of composition and simple tools that help extract the essence of a project,
  • color relationships that shape atmosphere and function,
  • and the idea of visual harmony, not as decoration, but as intention.

This wasn’t about lectures – it was about practice. Framing, layout, light, rhythm. We analyzed decisions, tested variations, discussed, and pushed ideas. No fluff – just depth.

We kept asking and testing:
– What makes a frame emotionally powerful?
– How do colors carry narrative and tone?
– What does aesthetic responsibility mean in a project?

AI, graphics, and narrative – creative tools for today’s designer

One of this year’s core modules was a hands-on session on working with artificial intelligence in design.

We explored:

  • ChatGPT – as a storytelling partner for project narratives,
  • AI-based graphic tools – for building fast visual mockups and mood sketches,
  • and textual and visual assistants that help organize ideas, create clarity, and communicate better.

This wasn’t about replacing thought with automation – it was about using AI to boost imagination, structure chaos, and enhance creativity.

We also talked a lot about storytelling in project presentations – because a strong idea is one thing, but being able to tell its story clearly is a whole other skill that today’s designers must master.

Partners, context, and the power of place

These workshops wouldn’t be the same without our amazing partners – Pilkington Architectural Glass, LABRA Light Thinking, and Benedykt Kawęcki Landscape Architecture – who shared not only expertise but real-world insights, stories and experience.

Special thanks also go to Radosław Jasik for giving us a personal tour of Star Gress Training Center and telling the story behind its creation. That deeper context brought extra meaning to everything we did.

Końskie Zdrowie – a signature finale

As always, we ended on a delicious note.
Tomasz Gąsiorek and his culinary story about Końskie Zdrowie has become a true workshop classic – taste, thought, and a sense of community at the table. If you know, you know.

Thank you for your presence, creativity and openness. It was intense, inspiring, and truly special. See you again in September!
